PuRE-net has received an invite to join a NEFPP webinar on Canada's Greening Strategy. The speaker will be Nick Xenos, Executive Director for the Centre for Greening Government, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat.

The presentation will provide an overview of the Greening Strategy (Greening Government Strategy: A Government of Canada Directive - Canada.ca) whose goal is to have net-0 carbon, green and climate resilient real property, fleet and procurement. It will also provide an overview of national and international partnerships that are in place to implement greening government more broadly (i.e. the Greening Government Initiative www.sustainability.gov).

PuRE-net has since 2016 maintained a working relationship with our NEFPP colleagues from Canada.
NEFPP provides an opportunity for Canadian real property public sector senior management to exchange information, share best practices, advance knowledge and establish ways to optimize the management of its real property for the benefit of their organizations and the Canadian public.
The forum consist of government members from the federal, provincial and municipality level as well as academic advisor and associate members from the private sector.
